Overview
Hospitality Enviro Tech’s Smart ABAM and ABNO sensors offer continuous in-line measurement of ammonia and nitrate nitrogen using ion-selective electrodes, enhanced with built-in compensation for interfering ions and temperature. They deliver durable performance in industrial water monitoring thanks to IP68 waterproofing, an automatic spray-head cleaner, and robust PVC/SS construction. Equipped with RS-485 Modbus digital output, they support data transmission up to 300 meters from controllers and feature auto-cleaning via pressurized air or water. Perfect for applications like wastewater treatment, municipal and industrial process control, and environmental monitoring where long-term reliability matters.
Features
ISE-Based Sensing with Compensation:
- ABAM (Ammonia Sensor): Ammonia ISE + K⁺ Ion + pH + Temperature electrodes.
- ABNO (Nitrate Sensor): Nitrate ISE + Cl⁻ Ion + Temperature electrodes (pH optional).
- Robust Digital Interface: Internal signal conditioning with RS-485 Modbus RTU, supporting up to 300 m cable length.
Auto-Cleaning System: Integrated spray-head cleaner for in situ maintenance using 3–5 bar air or water. - Rugged Build & Protection: IP68-rated waterproof housing constructed from PVC/SS316, PVDF, PTFE, and glass.
Extended Operating Range:
- Range: 0.02 to 20 ppm, and extended high ranges (100/500/1000 ppm).
- Temp: Operation 0–50 °C; Compensation up to 100 °C.
- pH: 0–14 (optional).
Factory Calibration & Field Calibration Support: Ready for plug-and-play, with calibration options for precision alignment.
- Convenient Mounting: Rear-facing 1.5″ NPT thread supports catwalk or rail mounting (ABABN submersible; ABAM requires support).
Applications
- Continuous ammonia or nitrate monitoring in wastewater treatment, including nitrification and denitrification zones.
- Industrial effluent control, municipal drinking water systems, and environmental stream or groundwater monitoring.
- Use in aquaculture systems to manage nitrogen balance and water quality.
