Overview
Hospitality Enviro Tech soil moisture analyzer quickly and accurately measures the moisture content of virtually any power, mixes and pastes of soil, sand clay or other granular material. The moisture in the test specimen reacts with calcium carbide reagent to form acetylene gas in the pressure chamber. The amount of gas formed, and the pressure created, is a function of the moisture in the specimen. The pressure gauge on the tester is calibrated to directly read the percentage of moisture contained in the specimen. It permits accurate testing of specimens in the field. with typical test times as short as a few minutes. Each Hospitality Enviro Tech soil moisture analyzer is equipped complete with balance, measuring spoon, cleaning cloth and brushes, calcium carbide reagent and polished oak carrying case.
