Overview

With Hospitality Enviro Tech NDT Dynamic Concrete Crack Detector, continuous and rapid detection of pile integrity is accomplished through the use of the acoustic transmission method. The ultrasonic method is employed to detect internal defects in concrete, including uncompacted areas, honeycomb voids, quality of joint surface, and thickness of surface damage layer, among others. Additionally, the ultrasonic-rebound comprehensive method is utilized to test the compressive strength of concrete. It is also possible to use the ultrasonic method to detect the depth of concrete cracks. For the evaluation of non-metallic materials such as rock mass and concrete, a single hole with one transmitter and two receivers can be employed to detect the integrity of the hole wall. Furthermore, this methodology is widely applied in geological exploration and testing the mechanical properties of non-metallic materials like rock mass and concrete.
