Overview
HETOET-234 series is a DC ground insulation monitoring module that integrates monitoring and protection functions based on the principle of unbalanced bridge. It is capable of monitoring the positive and negative ground insulation resistance of the DC floating ground system, with a range from 0Ω to 10MΩ. Additionally, it can detect the DC voltage value within a range of 0V to 1000V. The measured values can be obtained through RS485 communication, while the alarm resistance threshold can be set via dial switch or RS485 communication. When the insulation resistance falls below this threshold, the fault relay will activate and illuminate the L2 indicator light. Furthermore, by configuring specific bits on the dial switch, passive reset or automatic reset options can be selected. In case of manual or remote reset, both operations will halt module functionality simultaneously.
HETOET-234(A) and HETOET-234(B) models are equipped with a high voltage grounding switch (switch K in the diagram) that enables online on-off functionality. This means that when a module malfunctions, it can be reset and stopped from operating, disconnecting its high voltage switch from the ground and completely isolating it from the earth. The DC to ground high voltage test does not exceed 4200Vdc.
