Overview
The Hospitality Enviro Tech Fourth Generation Bluetooth Coating Thickness Gauge is a reliable and easy-to-use instrument designed for accurate, non-destructive coating thickness measurement. It has been tested for durability, stability, and performance under extreme conditions. The device automatically recognizes magnetic and non-magnetic substrates and applies the right testing method using both magnetic induction and eddy current technology. This makes it highly versatile for measuring coatings such as paint, powder, plastic, porcelain, chrome, copper, zinc, and more on materials like steel, iron, aluminum, brass, copper, and stainless steel. It can be used in laboratories or on-site, making it an essential tool for industries including automotive, manufacturing, metal processing, chemicals, and quality inspection.
Function
- Two thickness measurement methods of magnetic and eddy current are adopted, which can measure both the thickness of the non-magnetic cover layer on the magnetic metal matrix and the thickness of the non-conductive cover layer on the non-magnetic metal matrix
- Can quickly and automatically identify the iron matrix and the non-iron matrix
- Quick measurement and display of the value
- Professional mode and simple mode
- Professional mode; mean, standard deviation, deviation ratio, maximum, minimum, number is displayed
- Two kinds of boot and shutdown, mode: manual open / shutdown mode and test boot / automatic shutdown mode
- Battery voltage indication: low voltage prompt
- Micro-power consumption design, in the standby state of less than 10 microamps of current
- Measurement method: F magnetic induction, N eddy current
- Graphical menu-type operation, rich information prompt, easy to operate
- Bluetooth data transmission: Android, iOS App. Can display the measurement results in real time, with data statistics and browsing function
- Backlit dot array display, red and green LED indicator light, buzzer prompt sound
- Single-point measurement, continuous measurement
- The minimum use temperature of the instrument is -20°, up to 70°
- The probe wear resistance shall not be less than 800,000 measurements
- Improve the hardware circuit and algorithm: enhance the adaptation of high and low temperature and accuracy, enhance the identification of different thickness and shape matrix
- During the operation, there are beep prompts, red light and green light
- Can use single point calibration and, five-point calibration and other methods for calibration
- The upper and lower limits can be set beyond the limit of the alarm function
